Spring has been sprung here in freezingville and there is finally a cheerful light being cast over my fair city. Today I have light on the mind and I would like to point out two amazing things concerning darkness and light.
Dark Dark Dark, who just released an album titled "Bright, Bright, Bright" played at Space Gallery last week and I was completely smitten. Such talented people whose music is actually really surprising, endlessly beautiful and not contrived in any way. This will be my spring soundtrack, I especially like the title track.

Also, my dear friend
Katrine Hildebrandt-Hussey, whose work never ceases to amaze all of us, has been working on a series of cut paper pieces that stray from her usual color palette and explore the depth and mystery of black, or darkness. Check out
her blog for an amazing quote she is finding inspiration from. It's Seriously headdy.
